The Monetary Policy Board is the highest decision-making body on the monetary policy and operating Bank of Korea. The board was organized when the Bank was established. This minutes was drawn up at the very first meeting held on June 5, 1950. The first Governor of Bank of Korea Koo Yong-Suh, and then Minister of Finance Choi Sun-Ju, and then the member Yun Bo-Sun and other members were present at the meeting to decide on major matters concerning laying out the articles of association, the date of business commencement, the setting-up of branches, and its organization. "Historical Monetary Policy Board Conference Room" located on the middle floor (MF) of the museum represents the meeting at the time.
