Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the world economy has been experiencing an unprecedented turbulence due to global value chain collapse, inflation surge, US-China trade dispute and financial instability. Korea is not an exception. In addition, Korea is suffering from the most rapid population aging which is expected to deteriorate its growth potential in the long-run. The goal of this conference is to discuss these macroeconomic challenges facing the Korean economy and explore new idea and policy options for Korea's sustainable growth and financial stability.
