The Bank of Korea jointly organized a conference with the International Monetary Fund and IMF Economic Review on the theme “Asia: Challenges of Stability and Growth”. The conference will take place in Seoul, Korea on September 26 and 27, 2013.

The conference provided a forum to discuss innovative research on challenges of stability and growth that Asia is facing and to facilitate the exchange of views among researchers and policymakers. The conference papers were on a wide of range topics, including savings, productivity, demographic transition, economic growth, monetary policy, and management of capital flows.
