Visiting Scholar Program is designed to enhance the BOK Economic Research Institute's research excellence by promoting exchange of ideas and knowledge, and strengthening the links between the Institute's staffs and prominent scholars worldwide.

Visiting scholars are invited to serve as a full-time researcher and conduct research on the topics agreed with the Institute. In addition, visiting scholars are required to hold a seminar and present papers on their research findings during visit.

Visiting scholars are provided with necessary facilities and research assistance. Visiting scholars also have the opportunity to conduct joint research with the members of the Institute
