Launched in January 2015, North Korea Finance Economic Research Forum(North Korea Finance ERF) aims at sharing research information and ideas of North Korean economy, ranging from current economic situations and financial institutions of North Korea to monetary, financial and economic integration for Korean reunification.

The forum is made up of outside experts, including professors and researchers in the field, as well as members of the Bank’s North Korean Economy Team.

The forum is held at least once a quarter to present academic papers or discuss on pressing policy issues. In addition, the forum invites experts at home and abroad to share their insights into recent economic issues on North Korea.
